500+ This standard anti-corrosion coating ensures our fasteners can withstand over 500 hours in a salt spray test. It is a specialist compound which produces a multi layered, scratch and rust resistant coating. The pre-hardened screws are coated by a dip, spin, bake process with oven temperatures not exceeding 200°C. A 5μm metallic zinc layer, is covered by a chemical conversion layer which tightly adheres to a third, ceramic layer. The 10μm ceramic layer is baked, completing the chemical reactions which provide this rigid coating. The process is also environmentally sensitive as it does not use any contaminated waste product such as the Cr6 poison, unavoidable in certain galvanising/electro plating processes. |

Zinc coating protects the fixings from corrosion. Pair with powder coating to enhance its durability.

It is a specialist epoxy zinc, aluminium and ceramic compound which produces a multi layered, scratch and rust resistant coating. 1,000+ is effective in harsh environments, such as coastal areas and chemical plants.
