In-house Powell Gee Moulding Production Capacity Increased After Largest-Ever Investment
Powell Gee has made its largest-ever investment by installing a third hot-running injection moulding machine at our Shrewsbury site to increase in-house production capacity.
By using hot-running technology from the latest Engel machines to manufacture our moulded self-drilling screw heads, less energy is used than previous methods and near-zero purge waste is created. As a result, Powell Gee have furthered our efforts towards operating sustainably.
This investment also brings improved flexibility, and we are pleased to announce that we can further support our customers by supplying a range of standard colours pre-moulded from stock.
We can supply:
- Stocked standard colour fasteners next day *
- Non-stocked standard colour fasteners within five working days lead time
- Non-standard colour fasteners within ten working days lead time **
In addition, we now have a standard range of thirty-five colours available to supply in powder coated finish. Other powder coated colours are available, price and lead time are available on application.

**Non stocked colours are subject to £150 minimum order value.
